John's career began with the Small Business Services Group of Deloitte, where he remained for twelve years and progressed to senior management. Beyond developing expertise in the auditing, accounting and tax arenas, John developed significant specialties dealing with governmental and not-for-profit organizations as well as employee benefit plans.

In addition to working with small businesses, John has considerable expertise working with The Connecticut State Single Audit Act and OMB Circular A-133.

John is well established outside the firm of Visconti and Associates, P.C. where he has been an adjunct professor for several area universities. He also lectures for the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Socitey of Certified Public Accountants. John has served several nonprofit agencies and sits on various boards. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

John brings a 'hands on' approach to serving his clientele and prides himself on timely service and constructive value added business advice.

John is a life-long Connecticut resident and resides in Cheshire with his wife and two children.
